Hi Casey
There are certain missiological terms we use when we relate Christianity to other religions.
(I) Christ-centricism - Salvation is only in Christ (we find these views):
1. Exclusivism - Jesus is the only way to salvation and the Bible the only Revelation.
2. Inclusivism - Jesus is the only way but the revelation may be found in other religions, which initially may lead a person to Christ.
3. Universalims - Everyone will initially be saved, whether he believes in Jesus or not.
(The two later ones are typically found with more liberal Christians)
(II) Theos-centricism - As long as you believe in God
1. Pluralism - every religon leads to God (truth is subjective)
Exactly where do you stand in all this and why (if you dont mind I ask)?
