Of course you’re right to say that Christians call Porn sin.
But just because they/we call it sin does this mean we have no part in it?
Does not Christ say, to look at a woman lustfully is the same as adultery? If looking with lust is sin then how can we hope to view pornographic material and not lust for women when we see those that appeal to our taste?
What are we to do when we are bombarded with nudity everywhere and know that we are sinning? Should we give up and say what’s the use, I can't get women out of my mind! Should we surrender to temptation or go to Christ for help? Here in Europe advertisements in the subways, newspaper stands, billboards, etc. etc. etc. not to mention soft porn movies that are aired as early as 10:00 AM on Saturdays, is this an all out attack on those who choose a more moderate lifestyle?
I have often thought about different things that we did before our new life with Christ. I think of them as being irrigation ditches that used to supply our minds with those evil desires or lust. After these ditches sit idle for a while they start to fill in. But it only takes an ever so often flushing through to keep then open for service.
Here you are going strong and victorious in the Lord, looking at women and wondering if they know Jesus as Savior, and then?
BLAM like running into a brick wall, you fall flat on your back and wallow around there feeling sorry for yourself, and for how long?
People have overcome their Porn addiction, but how deep do you have to go to overcome? What is the key to overcoming?
