Science, Creation & EvolutionHas there been a good argument against Evolution? If other religions don't have a strong foundation or evidences ( "indications" as you would say), then it is obvious that faith in those religions is blind. You are not using any discernment whatsoever. I've studied other religions, and Christianity is the only religion with faith in evidence rather than blind faith. Are you telling me that something a man makes with his hands (idolotry) is the answer? Are you telling me polytheism(which varies according to culture and is no threat whatsoever) is the answer? I thought the truth is to be universal? Christianity is universal. As Christ said in John 12:32>And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. The truth makes bold claims, and those bold claims can be backed up by evidence. Let's not even get started on Islam. Especially since it has been forewarned that people will make up stories that oppose the gospels. So, to make things more clear, atleast you should study the religions and find the truth for yourself, rather than blindly choosing one or blindly saying that none of them is true. Although, if someone blindly chooses Christianity, there is nothing wrong with that because their faith can be backed up by evidence. Therefore, their conversion can be attributed to the Holy Spirit, and as Christ said: John 3:7-8>Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Also, with all the things that I have mentioned, all you can bring up is the fear factor? Fear is not the only reason that someone can become a Christian, their are so many reasons why Christianity is the truth. I've mention several besides fear. So go ahead and ignore the other reasons. |
