regarding your second post, on the nature of Hebrew writing. I found it very interesting but not at all a rebuttal of anything I have been saying. I do not feel that your sectarian attack on me being a liberal has much weight and am not exactly sure what you mean. Do I feel that the love of Jesus is Liberal and should be spread from human to human liberally and that sinners of whatever sort (not suggesting that homosexuals are among them) yes I do.
As for the politics of Jesus you will find that he made war on the established conservative order as it was and would be considered by most to be a radical anarchist in putting the singularity of the individual and her connection with god above worldy institutions. He broke barriers and celebrated love fredom, generosity. If these are "Liberal" values I welcome the label with open arms.
