The formulae 'c' is not some sort of mathematical fudge, it's a
proven law of nature. The speed of light (300,000km per second) is a constant.
This is where your ignorance comes through in your argument. "C" is a
defined constant. If you have actually checked out Setterfield's Internet site he shows where "C" has varied over time. And this MatthewGS is observed data that science ignores.
As to my use of the phrase "weak minded", your whole attitude since your registered (when you concealed your real purpose) assumes those of us who accept Genesis 1 do not have the intellectual capacity to review the available literature and draw rational conclusions.
It is you who is making the assumptions again. The reason I have even been bothering to debate on these posts is because I
have credited you with the intellectual capacity to review available data and draw rational conclusions. Faith works like a virus and intelligent individuals are by no means immune. Religious Faith usurps the capacity for genuine rational reasoning and objective enquiry and sets in its place an irrational and subjective belief in a superstitious deity, which actually
robs the physical world of any true meaning.
Now you are contradicting yourself as well as ignoring history. Bacon, Newton, Pasteur, and a long list of other scientists were Christians. Is it your contention these men allowed their faith to usurp their capacity for genuine, rational reasoning? Also I don't need science to give our physical world true meaning; all I have to do is open my eyes and take in the vastness of the world we live in.
What I find interesting about you is that you have avoided the Science Forum where science is debated and discussed in a courteous manner.
