Aineo, you stated that Hindu's and Christians do not worship the same God. Are you claiming that there is more than one God???
If you is indeed a God/s, both Hindu's and Christians are worshipping it/them. However, both, or either, of their interpretations of that God/s may be wrong.
For example, there is a parable about seven (I think) blind men who had to describe an elephant. One blind man touched the elephants tail, and stated that the elephant was like a rope. Another blind man touched the elephants ear, and stated that the elephant was like a fan. And so on. So, although they were partially right, they were wrong. But the fact still remains that they WERE describing the elephant.
Another analogy is like the top of a mountain. The top of the mountain represents God, and there are many paths you can take to get there. Hindu's take one path, Christians take the other.
You both worship God. Your interpretations are incidental.
