Christian ChatI am in need of some advicecan you gently asked why no-one showed up? Not out of frustration but out of simple needing to know. Perhaps you are being tested some way within the family? How obedient are you? How submissive are you? It is okay, even as a Christian to say no! I know Jesus preached about forgiveness 7 x 77 and more. But you can forgive them without actually having to keep on turning up and wasting your time through whatever reason they have. Take a stand and say no can do next time. If they persist ask them if they intend on showing up unlike the other two times. You are a christian and a human being. God does not expect us to be perfect. Just ourselves. By saying no next time shows you are being true to you. It really is okay to say no and they can blackmail you whatever. All you are asked to do is forgive and love one another. That does not mean you can be a used as a push over. If he had genuine reasons that is different but if you feel they are excuses then say either no, or just this one last time but not again if you don't show. Show it to them you mean what you say. God loves you. You don't have to be perfect. God loves you as you are and Ps he loves your sisters too wether they show it to you or not. He loves us all for being. Take care and be strong. |
