Free For all - Open Discussions and DebatesI am confusedAcceptance or rejection of the Genesis 1-11 is a matter of faith, not science. why only faith? God says it, we believe it, and (true) science supports it. However, science can and has addressed Genesis 1 as literal truth, which is why I referred you to the Evidence for ID and Creation forum. Have you read the threads on that forum? Have you asked questions concerning science on that forum? The answer to the second question is no, you asked a question concerning the inerrancy of the Bible in the wrong forum. The question you need to ask yourself is who is Jesus Christ, not is the Bible scientifically accurate. but if we can't trust the Bible on matters of science and history, why trust it when it talks about Christ? However, the most widely accepted scientific explanation for creation is the Big Bang. which is a completely unbiblical idea, fully powered by secular humanistic evolutionists who reject the Bible. and this "appeal to authority" doesn't determine truth. the Bible does. that should be our first authority, not what some secular scientists say. What was the first phenomena that resulted from the Big Bang? this is a misnomer. there was no phenomena, because there was no "Big Bang" (as the term is generally understood). the Bible describes no such concept, nor does it slightly even hint at it. The answer is the universe was flooded with energy in the form of light. We do not need a sun to grow plants and sustain life, we need light, heat, and etc. all of which existed before God created the sun, moon, and stars. the "Big Bang" is a way of demonstrating how this universe came into existence WITHOUT a Creator. trying to fit it into the Bible is dangerous. Since you have questions for which you want answers then following Newseed's suggestion concerning asking specific questions will get specific answers. So far you questions have not been specific but general and you have posted them in the wrong forum.[/quote] |
