ArchivedOSAS revisitedI'm going to disregard your entire opening remarks since they are nothing more than a childish display of "I am a better person than you are", and if you want to continue to let the enemy spawn dissension in your heart then go ahead and continue to be his victim. If you fail to see the truth after this post then I will end it, why? because a wise beloved brother in Christ of mines have opened my eyes to this folly. Why don't you ask Adam Clarke What are the "doctrines essential to Christianity"? I simply quoted that section from your quoted commentary in the hopes that you may prove that those who "apostasize" lose their salvation. My defintion of "the faith" is not "doctrines essential to Christianity", go back an start from the beginning. I have failed to disprove Matthew 24:10f, 1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Thessalonians 2:3, and Revelation 21:7-8? Or have you failed to disprove my rebuttals? You must love to play hopscotch on this thread and wasting my time re-posting my refutations which you failed to respond to. Here is an example of how you have a tendency to skim past my posts; If you cannot respond to my rebuttals which have utterly refuted yours than I am going to shake the dust off my feet because I don't have the time in my life and there is far more important duties that must be attended to besides wrangling with someone who sidesteps and reiterates what have been answered too many times and counting. This would demonstrate that ignorance would apparently be bliss on your part, not mines. Below is a perfect example, re- posting the same questions which have already been answered is a tactic that cult members and false teachers have been known to use to run from refutations deny their defeat. First of all, you dodged my question, you stated that "cut off" referred to loss of salvation correct? If that is the case then how can God regraft the Jews after they lost their Salvation? And Paul is not speaking of "Individual" persons but the Jews as a "whole". Here is a little advice, try re-reading your own posts for contextual errors before posting them, because their filled with contradictions which I sort of find amusing in a way. 1) What is your criteria for a "genuine believer". This is probably the 10th time you asked this question and I am absolutely certain I know where your going with this. A genuine believer is someone who confessed with their mouth and believes from "their heart" that Jesus died for their sins on the cross, rose from the dead, and that He is Lord. 2) How can one depart from a position or location they never professed or occupied. Either your reasoning and logical skills are regressing or you are inept in analogical presentations. Do your know the meaning of "depart" according to SCRIPTURES? Must I re-post it again? Depart:aphistemi, af-is'-tay-mee; from 575 and 2476; to remove, withdraw from. The Faithistis, pis'-tis the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself. Once again, how does "profession" indicate "possession", OR how does someone who "occupies" (the faith) imply possession of faith? 3) What proof do you want that "genuine believers" can fall away from the faith and become apostate? KUDOS!!!, I'll take Any or All! 4) How do unbelievers become part of the vine that is Christ and how do unbelievers become grafted into the natural olive? Since your making the comparison between Romans 11 and John 15, lets see where you error lies. Firstly God is extending the salvation and blessing to the Gentiles in Romans 11, this does not imply that the gentiles as a whole in the vine have already obtained salvation or the blessings, but how God is able to graft them in. Secondly, being part of the vine does not imply possession of salvation and I will show why if your ears are willing to listen with a sincere heart. The unproductive branch is cast into the fire to be burned. The unproductive branch fails to produce any fruit at all. The unproductive branch fails to abide (present tense) in the vine. Basically what your implying is that a branch that fails to produce any fruit, fails to abide (present tense) in the vine is a believer. It does not state the branch somehow brings forth fruit and then ceases, it NEVER bring forth any fruit at all! So if the branch that NEVER brings forth any fruit and fails to abide in the vine is a believer, then in essence God is casting a "believer" into the fire. If the branch somehow produced fruit and abided in Christ then was cast into the fire, then YES, it is proven that salvation can be lost. However in order to bring forth ANY FRUIT, the branch must abide in the vine. The branch which is cast into the fire to be burned NEVER brings forth any fruit because it fails to abide in the vine.
