So, Aineo, are you saying if you read through the entire Bible, you will know everything there is to know about everything? That you'll have the right answer to every question? That that understanding will come from your capacity as a literate human, and not from the Holy Spirit reaveling more, beyond your capacity as a literate human?
Are you saying you're omniscient?
Of course you're not.
So you should have no problem agreeing with the notion that God, and only God, has all the answers. That only God knows all things.
As for "our own wisdom"... we are not omniscient. But we are created in God's image, and as such, we have a God-given capacity to think. Our ability "to know" might not be infinite, as His alone is, but it is there. By thinking, we glorify God. And when our contemplation is coupled with guidance from the Holy Spirit, our asking questions, and even having doubts at times, can be a positive, constructive thing, because our faith in God can be strong enough to withstand even sincere doubts and uncertainty. Only dogma can't withstand doubt. Faith can. And since even the Bible (which is a limited, physical object; Paul says, "we have these treasures in earthen vessels," crass, cumbersome words, and God is so much more than what human language can convey) cant fill in every gap about every thing that can be known - faith takes us the rest of the way.
