At no time during any pregnancy was I pregnant with anything but a human being. Not a porpoise or ostrich or pansy. I was pregnant with a human child.
Nor was there any time when that child was not a child of mine.
Killing an unborn child is killing a child. It is murder.
God is in control of conception. There is never a child conceived that He looks at and says "Whoops! Where did you come from?"
We have five adopted special case kids. They are grown now and quite grateful, as am I, that their mothers did not choose to kill them before they were born.
A woman wants to have the say over her own body? Fine, when it's just her body. Her best say is 'no' when sex is tempting and she is not ready to become a mother. However, when she is pregnant, it is not just her own body anymore. There is another body to consider -- one entirely dependent upon her. One which will struggle to stay alive. One that is NOT her body.
She feels she can abort it because she has not seen it yet, that's all. Since when does sight make right or wrong? Are blind people free to kill at will?
