Christian/Muslim ThreadsDoctrine of Beliefs between Christianity/Judaism/IslamIn other words you can't back up your statement? The Bible does not state that the Torah disappeared with the destruction of the Temple at the time of the Babylonian captivity. In fact Ezra is described as a "scribe skilled in the law of Moses". How do you think Ezra was "skilled" if he did not have a copy of the Torah? Also Daniel refers to what "is written in the law of Moses". The Ark of the Covenant and the tablets of the law disappeared but that does not mean nor can it be inferred the Sanhedrin rewrote the law after the Hebrews returned to Jerusalem. |
