I picked two sections or laws to discuss, the dietary laws and the Sabbath both of which are not applicable to Christians. You on the other hand ignore what the NT teaches concerning the Law.
We are instructed to study to show ourselves approved (2 Tim 2:15). Research is how people study. Have I promoted disobedience to God? No, but you have by insisting that your interpretation of selected verses is being obedient to God.
Is James contradicting Paul who says it is by fiath and not works? Not at all. But you, not accpeting the entire book, cling to the faith portion, but ignore the works which true faith generates.
You are assuming a lot with this. Faith leads to good works; works do not lead to faith. James teaches that without good works you have no faith. Have you read Ephesians?
Again what does diet have to do with reaping and sowing anything?
Galatians 6:7-9
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. KJV
You brough cancer and smoking, smoking does not always cause cancer, what a man eats does not always cause disease but you have decided that those who smoke and disobey the dietary laws reap an early death. Paul and James both teach:
Romans 13:8-10
8 Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. 9 For this, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." 10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.
NAS
Galatians 5:14-15
14 For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, " You shall love your neighbor as yourself." 15 But if you bite and devour one another, take care lest you be consumed by one another.
NAS
James 2:7-8
8 If, however, you are fulfilling the royal law, according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing well.
NAS
You on the other hand equate early death with disobeying the Levitical Law. Some diseases are genetic and have nothing to do with obeying or disobeying the Law.
What you choose to ignore concerning what Paul wrote in Romans concerning the Law is Paul addressed his comments to the Jews. Tell me Endurance has you even read the first five books of the Bible, do you know all the provisions of the Law?
Since you would place yourself in the position of a teacher dissect this:
Galatians 2:11-16
11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
