Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesRomans 14
And you call putting scripture in context, adding theories that are not within the text? Interesting. Is that the only thing the NT teaches? It also teaches that the law is not made void through grace. It also teaches that we are to obey God. Why are you still clinging to dietary laws and the sabbath, being as though I'm not talking about them. What argument are you making by speaking on them? Whatever it may be, it's certainly a big digression as we see. Can you move on already? You accuse me of not taking the Bible as a whole piece and nor regarding context. Yet you recieve with joy some scriptures, but others you ignore, which in turn prevents you from seeing the overall message. You read we are saved by grace and not of works. And you accept it, though not properly. Then you ignore when it says, the law has not been made void Rom 3:31. You ignore the myriad scriptures which speak about the punishment of those who don't obey God. And are well pleased with the scripture, our works are as filthy rags. You ignore James who says, faith without works is dead. So tell me what did Paul really mean by Abraham's faith was accounted as righteousness. Is James contradicting Paul who says it is by fiath and not works? Not at all. But you, not accpeting the entire book, cling to the faith portion, but ignore the works which true faith generates. The enigma of lawlessness. Christ said those who love me keep my commandments, which you ignore. And cling to if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart, you'll be saved. Obviously, the one who believes and confesses also does. Lest the works Christ said those who love Him do are false and profession and believing in speech is all that is necessary. Truly Isaiah spoke in saying, hearing they hear not and seeing they see not. You accept the sweet words, but ignore the cross (which is more than just a symbol or something used to crucify the Lord. It is also our death sentence to the flesh, sin, and disobedience). Christ said take up your cross and follow, but you preach, he took up the cross, now I just believe He did. The enigma of lawlessness. You want me to go to a cult for a definition of cults, lol. Most times, there marks are things that would apply to Christ and His Apostles. You call me ignorant. Yet, I said nothing about what translation they used. I said they used the OT which is the Torah, Prophets, etc. I said nothing about what version they used. You consistently comment and rebut things I'm don't say, but you don't address the things I do. Did I say they used the KJV of the OT which was not even printed yet. Though what they did study, you and yours call obsolete, saying it was only for the Jews. How fickle the carnal mind can be. And the pride thickens. Look at your words Aineo. You are still relying on your OWN WORKS. You say your opinion is based on your years of research (works). Wisdom comes from above and it is not deciphered by man, but rather taught by the Spirit and all shall be taught by Him if they are His. But we are expected to seek Him diligently. You have so much faith in your research (works) and what you have theorized to be truth. Repent of you pride Aineo. Go to God and let Him teach you, if He will shed His grace upon you. Don't be confident in your own works (research). What can man give us that God cannot? God is alive. The living God still speaks. He speaks English too, it is not foreign to Him. Don't fret over translations and research (not to say it's bad to do those things). But have faith in God and He will reveal truth. You won't have to make educated "guesses" anymore. You only have darkness to offer. So if I am deemed a dog to one without knowledge, what does that offend me? The Word of God is powerful and sharp. While your words are dead food. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Don't be confident in your research. If any gloating must be done, let it be done in Him. IN His works and wonders and not your own. I never said that every person who eats unheatlhy will die such a way, as stated in last post. Many due and it is true that some do not. Just as the word says, he who kills with the sword, shall be killed with it. Not every person who kills is killed physically. Yet we know, all will reap what they have sown. Many do end up suffering for they actions in this life though. I'm sure you would agree. I'm glad that your family lived such long lives. It is a blessing. You say it contradicts scriptre? You rail and rail, but don't even comprehend the points being made. Let's look at what I said again. And let's see what the point being made is, so that hopefully next time, you'll take your time and understand before you run off... The point being made is that we reap what we sow. I can admit that not every single person pays here. But God is not mocked. Knowing the point I'm making, do you still argue that this (we will reap what we sow) contradicts scripture. Or do you belive that God is mocked? Aineo, I understand that you've spent years dedicated to studying the bible. So many of the WOF ministers that are condemned here have done the same. Many Oneness theologians and many Catholics. So what makes your "research" so special and authoritive? Don't rely on your efforts, but have faith that He's a rewarder of those who seek Him. THose who seek Him by faith and not by their own works. God does not pay a salary that rewards us for our works (own efforts to understand, do right, etc), but rather, by His grace He reveals to us and keeps us from that wicked one. Aineo, you need to go through a reformation within. Let go of what you think you know, and seek God for what He knows. Love Always, |
