Greetings H2O,
Thanks for your reply…
We muslims do not put emphasis on capitilazation as western Christians do in formal religious writing.
Great….
Then you won’t have an issue with us referring to him being the fictitious pagan Arab “god” that he is…
Muslims them selves write "the true god" or "the only true god" implying God capitalized.
Please back this claim up with a verifiable Lexical reference……complete with page numbers…
Quote:
The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission or surrender of one's will to the only true god worthy of worship "Allah" and anyone who does so is termed a "Muslim", The word also implies "peace" which is the natural consequence of total submission to the will of Allah.

Show us…
whom Lane quotes, says: "..the true god.." in denotation of the word Allah. For you to sit here and dictate that he meant pagan god cause he wrote it in small case is ridiculous whereas the context does not support such a thing. Lane did not say in his own words "..meaning god, i.e. the only true god.." but wrote "..meaning God, i.e. the only true god.."
I already proved it with your very own Britannica example, in which Yahweh is ALWAYS signified with a capital “G” when given His attributes…
Compare to (TA) who gives “allahs” attributes with a lower case “g”….
His rendered meaning does not incline to your wanton thinking, not to mention the countless times he uses God capitalized for the word Allah through out the entry.
Let me repeat myself…
If you are confident of your position, then come forth with Lane’s FULL definition for the "god" of the Koran…complete with page numbers…
You already declined and backpedaled once…..will you do it again…..?
We are already cognizant that blatant lying is not beyond your Muslim mentality…
Now….run along….
