Well, actually no, I wouldn't be offended or even mildly annoyed. I believe that any moral/ethical path will take you to...(this means I don't know, could be Heaven, could be reincarnation, but whatever it is is good). I believe that a good person will be judged (if there is a judge) according to how they lived their lives, not by their beliefs.
My mother, a Catholic, has asked for my assistance in the past spiritually believing much the same thing. I am aware, however, that many feel that my path is inherantly wrong - while this does not bother me personally, it would be offensive for me to offer that particular action in regards to their particular faith
No, I wouldn't be advocating lies - like I said, there's nothing wrong with the Christian path - it just isn't my own. Just because I don't believe it doesn't mean that nobody else can or should. Sometimes what helps one person will not help another, and I view religion as something that is...flexible...in that regard. I just know that some others don't
