ArchivedSpiritual WarfareThere are several misconceptions in your post that definitely need correction, if you are humbly willing. It is primarily the devils job to accuse Christians before God, read the book of Job where satan made an attempt to present a blameless Job guilty before God and His heavenly hosts. We must be careful in "thinking" that satan will only accuse us if we accuse him, accusations come froms either a judgmental heart or from the enemy. The Enemy will seek to accuse you before God whether you accuse Him or not, furthermore you must be able to discern whether it is the enemy that is causing hinderance or accusation or another source. On another note, to say that you won't know whether satan is responsible for your problems until you die is untrue, if this is the case with you, then you need to ask the LORD for spiritual discernment. 1 Thessalonians 2:18 - Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us. I have casted out demons, seen, experienced and heard the demonic forces at work in nearly all shapes, forms and sizes. I can assure you with absolute certainity, try with every bit of effort to live a holy life and to love God with all your heart and to refrain your tongue from evil, you will be accused "DAY AND NIGHT". Do not get upset at what I say, to say that problems arise because of the "wickedness of our own heart" is both deceiving and an accusation in itself, each and every follower of Christ, especially the apostles experienced major problems as they made their "very best effort" to do the will of God. You must be extremely careful when speaking such words. It is when you fail to know the enemy and his tactics, that you become a victim. As I STRIVE to live my life worthy of its calling and pleasing to God, purifying my heart and sanctifying it through the "Word", and not wickedness from my heart, I WILL be accused as often as possible. I have been around for quite a long while, and I stand firm in what I speak. I will pray that those who do not take heed to what I have spoken will come to the realization of this one day, sometimes it is not pleasant but the LORD will make it all worthwhile for the benfit of your growth, and I speak with great concern and love. Take Care and God Bless! |
