Christian/Muslim ThreadsGod in Christianity and IslamFirst of all, I apology for the delay, In fact I find some difficulties writing in English because English is not my native language. Correct : The challenge of the Koran is addressed to whole people to all jinn,In other words the chellange addressed to all the creatures: "Say: If men and jinn should combine together to bring the like of this Quran, they could not bring the like of it, though some of them were aiders of others."[Quran: The Children of Israel-88] Yes it occurred that one Arab poet drop his poetry when he read some verse of Surat AlBaqara , and he stopped doing poetry forever saying that " Allah gave me Surat AlBaqara as a replacement" In fact comparing the Holy Quran with Shakespeare's tales or with any other famous writer is a funny. And it means that who does such this comparison did not read the Quran he Did not realize what the this book is talking about, or on the contrast he didn't comprehend what Shakespeare's or the other storytellers are about. However, Here I will clear out the differences between the Quran and any other Manuscript (Making Shakespeare's tales as example): 1-Style: I still insist for the unique style of the Koran, anybody whose mother Tongue is Arabic can easily distinguish between the Quranic style and any other Human style, including the style of Muhammad's sayings. The Arabs of the seventh century were renowned for their eloquence and mastery Of language. They have left us a wealth of exquisite poetry and prose. When those Arabs heard the Koran , they were fascinated by its unique melody and unmatched Style. The words used in the Koran were well understood by the Arabs, yet the style was different. In every sentence in it there are so many shades of meaning That those who read it find in their hearts some special feeling beside the generally understood connotation of the words. The Quran is not a book of history or of science despite the fact that it relates many historical stories and refers to many scientific facts. The main objective Of this Holy Book is to guide human beings toward what is beneficial for them, To teach them the facts of existence, and to preach wisdom, mercy and compassion. 2-The issues which The Quran is talking about are very essential very fundamental - basis of faith, tenets, beliefs, morality, life after death, reward, paradise, hell and many other basic principles – Such these issues are extremely hard , hence the discussion, debate, disputation rejection and enmity are undoubtedly expected. 3- It is immune from corruption because it is impossible to match. Any Change in words, any addition or deletion can easily be detected. 4- Its meanings are infinite; they as deep as a bottomless sea. A reader can dive into it to any depth that he is capable of reaching. This aspect gives the Quran its eternal appropriateness. Throughout The ages,Muslims have found in it answers to their problems and guidance For their public and private lives. 5- It has a melody that does not subside by repetition. On the contrary, The more one reads it, the more one enjoys it. The pleasure of reading the miraculous language fills up the heart and revives Faith in Allah. It builds a bridge of communication between the Muslim and his Creator. 6- Challenge: Its challenges is exists in Itself, ( In the Koran itself not by His adherents or followers ). 7- Quran describes itself. 8- Inviting all mankind and to think before accepting any idea so it Addressed to the educated and intellectuals thinkers . 9 - Very very easy for reading and memorized by heart.
