Ok, now I do not know if this is the right place to put this but I have been reading some things lately which got me thinking.
If God passed on Judaism as the first religion, then why were there other religions before it? Archeologists have found that Jainism is one of the oldest religions in the world (which originated approximately 5,000 years ago) and even Zoroastrian proceeded before it. That got me thinking. Why didn't God tell these people that he was their One & Only True Creator? Why were there these other religions before Judaism was formed? I don't understand. And what about the people that were found in the Middle and Upper Paleolithic regions?
I guess my main question is this....
If Judaism is the first religion, how come there are other religions before it. And also, why didn't God tell these people that He was their creator and not a bunch of sun and moon gods that they worshipped?
Excuse me if I do not know the answers, please don't ridicule me, some of the comments here have been unpleasant and all I am trying to do is work out issues by answering questions and trying to understand better. Unlike some others I have noted posting here, my mission is not to scoff Judaism/Christianity/God or Jesus Christ. Neither is it my purpose to be rude so please do not confuse my question as an attack.
Thanks
