Christian/Muslim ThreadsWhy muslims cast stones at a well in Mecca.Nope, I knew about the Ayats, I just understood them differently. So we have the following: 1. One end of the day - FAJR 2. Dawn - FAJR 3. Before the rising of the sun - FAJR 4. Sinking of the sun – ZUHR 5. Noontide hour – ZUHR 6. Before it’s setting - VAGUE (could be Zuhr or Asr) 7. Nigh of the night - MAGHRIB 8. Darkening of the night - MAGHRIB 9. Watches of the night - VAGUE (could be Maghrib, Isha, Layla, Tahajjud) 10. The other end of the day - MAGHRIB 11. At the setting sun - MAGHRIB * Middle prayer (Salaat al-Wusta) doesn't give the time of day. Interestingly a day in the Muslim calendar begins after sundown and ends before sundown. So in a day of five prayers the order would be Maghrib, Isha, Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, making Fajr the middle prayer. To make Asr the middle prayer Muslims are forced to use the Western calendar! In any case, the point is not whether the Qur'an mentions all the times of the prayer explicitly or vaguely. The point is that Hadiths are depended on for knowing the SPECIFIC times of the day for prayer and for knowing how to pray.
Having known Judaism you should know that the BROTHER OF ISRAEL is in fact ESAU (EDOM). So the brothers of the ISRAELITES are the EDOMITES. It is clear from Deuteronomy 18 that the LEVITES are being spoken to, the very reason why the Jews are awaiting an ISRAELITE to fulfill the prophecy. You didn't come back to me on this one when I posted a thread titled Deuteronomy 18:18. I'm assuming you forgot. . |
