Science, Creation & EvolutionHow dose science deal with Gods power?Helix, that is also what happens with evolution. That is considered foundational and the data is squeezed into it. It happens with almost every science, actually, which is really sad. The thing that impressed me most about Setterfield before I knew him and when he had first asked me to work as editor for one of his papers, was that he was going data first, to see where it led. He has that kind of honesty and humility. That is why he finds himself at odds with the organized creation community as well as with evolutionists and long-agers. It's a lonely position and it would be much more comfortable to be acknowledged and respected by many others instead of a few others, but he is not going to deny where the data leads. Try to do the same in your life. Don't just believe what you are told or what someone has written. Look for direct evidence -- look for the data. You are calling God a myth, and you are willing to deny direct evidence that says this creation cannot happen by chance. Study a little biology. Check into cellular structure. Examine the reproductive processes of flowering plants. Take some time to look at real life. |
