Science, Creation & EvolutionIs Science Evil? But do not forget: I evolutionary terms there is no 'good' or 'evil' in nature. We see canibalism in crocodiles (and in some dinosaurs as well; fossils of young dinos have been found where the stomach once was). neither do I! Compasion might seem a good concept, but it can have negative consequences! Let's say you help birds through the winter. They will all survive and eat all earth worms they can find. Worms stimulate plant growth by making 'air-holes' in the soil and by deposting their fertile excrement. If all worms are eating, you garden will die or at least suffer from the lack of expected 'natural fertiliser'; worms. The lack of plants will cause a holocaust in insect life. A simple decision can have big consequences, even in your garden! |
