Let me rephrase my original question from Faith to Faith in God.
Sure the wolves have a follow the leader mentality because the bigger wolf will put the weaker wolves in line.
But I have faith in God but I have not seen him. unlike the physical world of the wolf.
Or does that fit in with your first answer?
ALL form of moral (or immoral) behaviour benefit the survival of the species. This is the main theme, that can be applied to all form of behaviour we see in animals (including humans).
So can you show where the animals have faith in God?
editMy point is that none of the 'characteristics' of humans are truly human. Both selfishness and group labour (like that of ants) are present in nature. Not even 'love' (which is often stated as THE thing that sets humans apart from the animals) is something truly human.
