Christian/Muslim ThreadsHow do Muslims view the war in Iraq?Peace Believer, True, in the 90’s the inspections were told to leave Iraq and were not allowed in some areas. Now did they have anything to hide? Who knows…? But let’s say they did. Now, the inspectors destroyed any weapons program that they could find that Saddam Hussein had. Ok so were back to the last inspectors, right before the war. No weapons were found. You believe in this myth that they were transported out of Iraq, which doesn’t even make sense because America had already decided to go into war. You’d think he’s use them to defend his rule. But let’s go with your logic. So they were transported out of Iraq. Where to and where is your evidence for it? I’ve addressed your point, so I address mine. And I will repeat myself. How is it logical that you punish an entire nation so severely because of one man? Ignorance is bliss. Alas it cannot apply to America. For the sole reason being that America knew exactly what the sanctions were doing to the Iraqi people. You’re country chose to ignore them. You’re the one blinded by your patriotism. It’s sickening. At least, it is I, who works with the facts. Let’s see what you contributed: You claimed that there was a connection between Iraq and Al-Qaida. WRONG  You claimed that Saddam Hussein had WMD’s even though there’s no proof of it all. You claimed that the weapons had been transported out of Iraq into another country. No evidence for that as well. You supported the sanctions fortifying your rights to assert that you care for the wellbeing of the Iraqi people. And I’m the child of propaganda? You have been watching way too much FOX news. My faith tells me when ever I’m told something that I should verify it. That is why I’m the one with the facts, and you with your “stories”. But yes, my faith does tell me not to ally myself with the disbelievers. I believe your kind has shown the truth to the advice of the Quran. True I don’t know you. Perhaps it is a coincidence that you slightly changed your attitude after Pub’s post. No I don’t. Where in my post did I state that or even imply that?
Slip of the tongue meaning he accidentally said what he felt. And as a President, that was a big mistake. And it showed us, not that we didn’t know it already, how he really viewed this war. ISLAM Vs West (Christianity and Judaism). Why, you’ve declared it in the past. Animals eh? No it’s not too harsh Believer. At least I know your opinion of us. Honesty is the key! But you know, you arm a man, and then he invades another nation, and then you come in and start a war. I don’t understand this logic. And then you have the audacity to say that were killing each other when it is you who added sparked the flame. It is beyond me. But continue waving your flag and singing “God Bless America”. Obviously you can’t stomach the truth. 8) And tell me Believer, who told the Shiites to rebel with the promise to aid them against Saddam? This is getting interesting… I don’t know. I’m not a bloody scholar. But I would get the advice, and what ever the advice is, my decision would be based on that. So you will force others to think the way you do? Are you purposely trying to miss my point? What right does America have in deciding the choice of government for Iraq without having some sort of referendum and placing all the choices in front of them for them to choose from? There isn’t one government in existence today that I would say is the best government. The closest is the Malaysian government, even though it isn’t Islamic, they do rule on some Islamic laws. Don’t talk to me about logic. Your whole belief system is illogical. You don’t trust Amnesty International? Is it that you don’t trust Amnesty International because they released these damning figures? That’s the only thing your critical about? That Sadr should have been killed? Get over Sadr(he’s injured by the way). America created this resistance and well it is their country. They also believe that they are doing the right thing. And who has killed more Iraqi’s. Bush or Sadar? Bush of course. Who has brought more problems for Iraq, America or Sadar? Again America takes the cake. Let me explain to you the thinking of Sadar. He attacks police stations because he believes them to be traitors working for the occupiers when they should be rebelling. So for them, it’s not like they have precision guided missiles to work with. You use what you have. So when a passerby is killed or injured, they do not mean for that death. I don’t agree, but I’m explaining their point of view. For them, rebelling against the occupiers and if people get killed in the process, well that’s the cost of war and the price of defending their country. What Sadar wants is for the occupiers to leave. What he doesn’t want is this new puppet government formed by the same occupiers. Agree to these terms, and I assure you they would put down their weapons. America just isn’t listening. And neither is Sadar. Peace and Blessings be to the Believers |
