Science, Creation & EvolutionWhat will Heaven be like?By "continuation of this life" I mean more in the sense of structure and consciousness, as opposed to an out of body experience. I understand that completely. As I understand it, the timing of "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes......... there shall be no more sorrow" is not until after the millenium, so it may be that we will have 1000 years to mourn for those who ended up in hell. I have no clue. Whether we will or not, I would imagine that the joy of being in the presence of our Lord and Savior will far supercede any other thoughts or emotions we might have. I would agree that we will never be able to fully comprehend it until we get there. My point was more to the fact that I believe heaven will not be a dreamy, hazy experience. It will be just as real and tangible as this earth is. Completely beyond our comprehesion at the moment, but real and tangible nonetheless. |
