Christian/Muslim ThreadsIf Jesus Christ Is begotten does that mean he had a beggininHello zampeada and K-J-M welcome to freejesus The thing you do not understand is that God manifested in the flesh, the birth of Jesus at Bethlehem was not Jesus beginning and his death at Calvary was not his end 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. First keep in mind that God is a Spirit the Spirit manifested in the flesh Now look at these verses John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. IN THE BEGINNING was the Word the Word was God and the Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us, as the bible show Jesus is the Word of God who is God from the beginning that created all things and manifested in the flesh. So how can Gods beginning be at Bethlehem as Jesus ? Here is proof that Jesus is God and everlasting ? John 17:5 - And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. Unto the Son he saith...Thou, LORD, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands. Hebrews 1:10 By him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth...all things were created by him, and for him. Colossians 1:16 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah...out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Micah 5:2 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58 Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. 9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. 10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands These verses show Jesus is everlasting God and existed before his birth Now look at this John 2:18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? 19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21 But he spake of the temple of his body. Jesus said destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up How can a dead men ressurect his own body if he is not God ? Jesus is God which manifested in the flesh his soul was made an offering for sins as Prophecied in isaiah 53 and after three days Jesus ressurects his own dead body and now lives at the right hand of the Father. My Muslim friends you have to understand the concept of God manifesting in the flesh. |
