Interesting articles. If I may summarize:

Point 1: "Fossil fuels take a long time to form. If we go back in geological history, we find that it took millions of years for our fossil fuels to come to be."
Point 2: "They are not being produced naturally, and if they were it would take such long periods of time to produce them that only people far in the distant future would benefit."
Point 3: "Fossil fuels are found deposited in rock formations. They were formed between 350 million and 50 million years ago. The processes by which they formed are not totally understood."
Point 4: "Oil and natural gas are also found in beds of sedimentary rock. The sediments were deposited by shallow seas millions of years ago."
Point 5: "These layers were subjected to heat and pressure over millions of years."
Conclusion: "As you can see, the fossil fuels take millions of years to form."
Wow, what a solid confirmation of your view of millions of years.
When you start with a presupposition of millions of years, it's quite east to prove millions of years.
Let me see if I can write my own paper, and we'll see if you believe it to be good proof of my point of view.

Point 1: Fossil fuels don't take a long time to form as modern science likes to thinks. If we go back in geological history and accurately compare it to the creation record found in the Bible, we find that it only took a very short time, with the aid of a catastrophic global flood, for our fossil fuels to come to be.
Point 2: They are not being produced naturally, and in order for them to form again, it would take a catastrophic event similar to the global flood recorded in Genesis.
Point 3: Fossil fuels are found deposited in rock formations. They were formed a few thousand years ago by the Noahic flood. The processes by which they formed are not totally understood, however it is certain that God used the flood to prepare these fossil fuels for our benefit today.
Point 4: Oil and natural gas are also found in beds of sedimentary rock. The sediments were deposited by shallow seas a few thousand years ago.
Point 5: These layers were subjected to heat and pressure over a very short time, probably about a year - the time it took from the beginning of the flood until the time that the flood waters went away.
Conclusion: As you can see, the fossil fuels take a very short amount of time to form, but a catastrophic event like a global flood is necessary for their formation.
See how easy it is to prove something when you start out with a presupposition that is the very thing you are trying to prove?

It's far more than a grammatical technicality, in my opinion.
I view the Bible as infallible and inerrant. It is completely correct in everything it speaks about. It is the Word of God, and it does not need to be altered in any way to fit modern science's views on how the world came to be. In fact, the Bible warns strongly against those who would add
anything to what is recorded in Scripture.
You, apparently, view the Bible as fallible and errant. It is not correct in everything it speaks about. It may be the Word of God, but it needs to be altered in a way to fit modern science's views on how the world came to be, because it's a little outdated in those areas. And you apparently ignore the Bible's warnings about adding
anything to what is recorded in Scripture because you've not only added words, you've added entire millenia that are just not there.
Why do you want believe the teachings of sinful men who are trying to disprove God? Wouldn't you rather just believe what God has said, and not put words in His mouth?
