Did Darwin recant?
A better question: Does it matter?
Even if he did recant, that doesn't mean a thing as far as disproving evolution or as far as changing how modern science views our origins. It just means that some guy changed his mind. So what? If I changed my mind about the Bible, does that make it not true, or would that make all the other Christians immediately say that the Bible is no longer valid? Absolutely not! It just means I changed my mind. This "Darwin recanted, so evolution must not be true" argument is one of the worst ones out there, and whenever it is used against an evolutionist, it is utterly ripped to shreds. So, it's really kinda pointless to argue it here.
