I am interested to understand your view on various aspects of the Jewish people. I am interested in part because my American Christian friends and European Christian friends have very different views. The views are not political but transcend it; it is differences in religious understanding. Of course this topic has political undertones but I am not too interested in that aspect.
My question is that why was it that most Jews did not accept Christ as a prophet let alone their Messiah that they had been waiting for and they still are, singing "I believe," (that he is yet to come) 2000 years later? How do you explain that.
This despite the fact that Christ produced awesome miracles to the point that now, 2000 years later, today's Christians still rely on those to confirm their belief.
Christianity spread largely among none Jews of the time through the work of the apostles.
Where the majority of the Jews of the time so misguided or even so bad? Or is that they were expecting something else.
What was it that Jews were looking for that they did not find in Christ? What was it that he did not offer them that they wanted?
