Christian/Muslim Threadsa must readIt's recited back to him. In fact this was done every year in Ramadan, and twice in the year of his death. It doesn't take a detective to figure out that either 1) he read it 2) it was recited. Haha, but you chose 1) so you can post the pic. Alternative interpretations abound: http://www.jewsforjudaism.org/web/faq/faq004.html http://www.jewsforjudaism.org/web/faq/faq012.html Look at this pile (I don't condone what they say about Jesus (pbuh)) http://www.jewsforjudaism.org/web/faq/faq-ss.html http://www.jewsforjudaism.org/web/faq/faq057.html What part of "Jesus (pbuh) never saw or authenticated today's Bible" is illogical or conjectured to you? Actually, none of God's Prophets ever worshipped anyone or anything but God. Abraham worshipped and rationalized the existence of God even before God spoke to him. Sure, but was there a mechanism of memorization and transcription? Did Jesus make sure that what people had memorized and wrote were his exact words and actions and teachings? When did he ever review the material? Only because it differs from the Bible's account, which doesn't even trace back to Jesus. So that's the choice you've made, and we're all accountable for our choices. Surprisingly though, it isn't. These scriptures can't be traced back to their Prophets, they were compiled either years after the Prophet's death or had several "religious men" add their "wisdom" to it. There's no point in memorizing and preserving a text AFTER the corruption had a chance to occur after the death of the Prophet. True. But one shouldn't accept anything as "the word of God" if it's not preserved and memorized since the time of the Prophet. Oh yeah? You researched your faith, and without basing anything on the NT, you rationalized that a god and man formed a hypostatic union? If you are truthful, show me a point by point proof of Christian theology without quoting the NT. I'm the one who told you that. 1) You can't love their evil 2) you can't love their disbelief/hate of God Actually, find one father who will say the words "I love my son's hate for me" Yeah it sounds familiar… So we view all the kuffar as being, firstly, the creation of Allah. And as Muslims, we love Allah’s creation. Therefore, we do not love the kafir, rather, we love Allah’s creation (suna’ Allah). We view them as being a means for our spiritual transaction with Allah; a means for our drawing nearer to Allah. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “For Allah to guide one person (to Islam) through you is greater than the whole world and all that is in it.” Hence, through this balance do we interact with them upon the foundation of having mercy for them, compassion for them, and a desire to try to save them from the fire. This is the only way we should view our interaction with them. We do not esteem the influential one amongst them because he can benefit us in our da’wah (as a kafir), nor are we generous with the needy amongst them because we love them in themselves, rather, we deal with the influential, the poor, the sick, and the young amongst them with mercy, and through mercy, because this is the way that Allah loves. Well you've said things about him that noone would say unless their heart was filled with hate. You preach love, but the façade dissipates to expose your true self. That's the mark of a hypocrite in faith. And you should learn more if you think he is hateful, Condensed Version: http://www.prophetmuhammed.org/ Detailed: http://www.ymofmd.com/books/aram/index.htm http://www.ymofmd.com/books/prophethood ... mproph.htm You probably feel the same way about Moses (pbuh). Then you must think that John the Baptist and the Essenes, which protected Jesus (pbuh) as a youth, are also hateful, since they fought the Romans. Thanks, but when you pray, pray to the Father. How can you claim that God can love evil or sin? Actually, that's not how Jihad is fought. From the Muslim perspective, the Trinitarian Christian faith ascribes lies to Jesus (pbuh). Also, of course someone shouldn't be disallowed from converting to Islam, this is a confusing law for you? Hair They didn't have I.D.s back then, dress code was for tax purposes. And zunar means "belt". We shall always wear a belt. Engraven images. Not different from the rules in mosques. Whailing and moaning after the dead is discouraged in Islam. In Islam, men are buried without tombstones and engraven images, Christians bury with tombstones, therefore they are separated. You can't fool God by coyly saying "but we are only doing this". The money changers were desecrating the worship of God, the very worship of anything but God is a desecration. Probably because the clothing served no tax purpose, it was just for its own sake. It's the other way around, first you have to prove that the Gospels reflect the true Jesus, but how can you do that when you know that Jesus (pbuh) never wrote or saw the Gospels? OOPS, Freudian slip? thanks How about instead of trying to compare God to things, you listen to divine revelation to see what God says about Himself? Written by a former Rabbi. It's not, though, science has never been able to prove evolution, not even close. I understood it clearly. Besides, that's what Prophets are for, they are exegetes. Oh ok, so that's Jewish apocrypha but Jesus was a "magician and liar" is a Jewish fact? The fact that Jews record Jesus (pbuh) like that casts doubt on anything else they record from a theological standpoint. Peace bro |
