The concept that the name of the Godhead is Jesus is found in the wording Jesus used when He commanded the apostles to go, make disciples and baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Oneness people also use these Scriptures and some others to establish their doctrine: Quote:
Acts 2:38
38 And Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. NAS
Acts 19:3-5
3 And he said, "Into what then were you baptized?" And they said, "Into John's baptism." 4 And Paul said, "John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus." 5 And when they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. NAS
So Jesus gives the command in Matthew Mark Luke to His disciples to baptize and in Acts we see the disciples executing the command...in the name of Jesus......Is that correct?
