The use of Bible quotes.
I am not sure if this is the right thread for it, but there are a lot of persons here that don't have english as the native language, so maybe it is.
Bushmaster said that I am comparing apples and oranges when I answered him in dutch.
Am I?
Bushmaster quotes the Bible in a language I don't understand. I answer him in a language he doesn't understand.
What is the difference? Bushmaster says I can look up what the Bible said. I say Bushmaster can look up what I said.
Sounds pretty much the same to me.
Webmaster claims there is only one interpretation of the Bible.
Please take a look around and see that millions of Christians disagree with your interpretation Webmaster. They even disagree with the views of eachother.
Are all those millions of Christians wrong? Are you the only one or one of the few that have the only right interpretation?
I hope you can answer that question with no.
And even if I am wrong on those things, is it that much to ask to put your interpretation with quotes you use? It would make your message clearer to the persons you are trying to reach here on the forum. Isn't that a good thing?
Or are you perhaps afraid that the interpretations do turn out to be different???
