You're still not getting it... I think you should read that passage in Exodus and you will see the name that GOD said HIS name IS
Other names God was called in the OT:
Elohim Chaiyim - Living God
Elohay Kedem - God of the Beginning
Notice all say God in there? That's the name we humans gave to HIM.
Let's say you and I saw this man. I say "man or person"
You say in your language and in other language we have:
Spanish: hombre
Dutch may say: Persoon
Finnish person may say: olio
The point is, this is their way of saying man or person. Who we think they are. But this is not their name. This is what we call them when we are describing them. I'm not sure if you are getting what I'm saying..maybe someone else can explain better than me?
