Scorpz....
Not one of us would ever want to go against God's word, but I really think you didn't look at the two links I posted for you to read. They addresss completely all your concerns about it being unbiblical. One is even a Bible Study.
You have every right to believe what you want, but please don't set yourself up as God's spokesperson on the earth. I'm sorry bro, but standing for biblical truth is one thing, but setting yourself up as someone who has more authority than the majority of the world's evangelical, non liberal bible teachers is another.
We have spoken from two fronts here.. As people who have seen the movie and know it's impact on our own lives personally and from the perspective of being Christians who would NEVER want to see what our Lord did in any way belittled or discredited.
I've been a believer now for over 30 years. I spent my teens in fundamentalist churches and was warned away from anything that even smelt of liberalism. Having seen the movie though, I will NEVER read the Gospels in the same way again. How could I, when the total reality of the cross was brought home to me in such a vivid way.
When I read countless forums across the world and find even the ICQ forums are talking of nothing but "The Passion". .. even if you are right in your estimation of it, as Aineo ( I think) has said, God is using it's impact to take the message of the crucifixion and it's meaning to people who have never given it any thought before.
Hope your day went well at college. God bless
