Like I said LindaBee2, you can be baptised by anyone christian.
The baptism isn't about anyone baptising you really.
Baptism is YOU choosing to give up your old life for Jesus.
Do you know what baptism is all about?
When you get baptised you die!
Your sinful self, your old life without christ dies, your old self dies.
When you get baptised, your current self dies a watery grave, gets washed away.
When you emerge from the water, you are reborn in christ. Your old self has died, and you have come alive in Christ.
When you are baptised, Satan can't accuse you anymore because you are washed clean, and are clothed in the blood of Jesus.
That is why it is important to get baptised.
But baptism is all about yourself. You can get baptised by anyone you want. Baptism is all about yourself.
Out of respect for your church or your churchleaders you can let them appoint the baptisers, that is what I did, but it is NOT a requirement for baptism.
I hope this time my point is clear.
So LindaBee2, you can get yourself baptised by your father with a clear consiosness.
Hope this has helped you
