ArchivedCould Allah have a Son?Just a tiny example to refute your heresy: The "TriMurti" or the Hindu Trinity BRAHMA, VISHNU/SHIVA (who is one god with 2 faces) and SHAKTI form a triad or trinity of 3 gods, (a TRI-MURTI), who are the 3 fundamental principals of Hinduism and are comparable to the Christian trinity : BRAHMA is comparable to the God of Original Creation. Half masculine and half feminine, the female energy life force (which the goddess SHAKTI represents) gives energy, life, love and light which is necessary to animate the other principals of the Triad : Brahma and Vishnu/Shiva. A / VISHNU comes to our world in the form of many incarnations, to save human beings and just souls who are in difficulty. His second function is to teach human beings the road leading to the Kingdom beyond. B / SHIVA, the second aspect of VISHNU, determines the destiny of human beings and judges their souls. He can take away their life or lead them to reincarnation. As the Supreme Progenitor, his symbol is the LINGUM (Phallus) or organ of procreation. SHAKTI or SATI, his consort is the YONI (the womb) .She is indispensable and accepts the sperm. SHAKTI, the goddess of omnipresent energy. She is also the cohesive aspect (Sattva) which is needed to quicken the inert bodies of the 3 great masculine gods. Released from BRAHMA, she is the basis of his thought, and a form of Mother-Goddess whom the men of antiquity had always worshipped. Her energy (like that of the wind) can be as refreshing as a soft breeze or as violent as a tempest let loose by the ocean. Like the Holy Spirit of the Christians, she can be as light as the flight of a dove, or instead like a tongue of fire she warms the hearts of people living in a cold, materialistic world. She is the star which in the middle of the night gives a lode star in the sky to those who want to find their way in the immense ocean of life. "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, THIS IS my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." In Mark Gospel, the Greek word for "You" is "SU", and the Greek word for "This" in Matthew Gospel is "outos" . Mark held that Jesus was the adopted son of God called adoptionist theology. Matthew felt Jesus already knew who he was because he was son of God based on the Virgin birth and therefore did not need to be told who he was. Matthew held the patripassians theology. He changes the wording so the people are addressed. Very Nice Bible Indeed Well I am just wondering if any Christian has read his Holy Bible from cover to cover before posting his ignorance about Islam?? The following will show you the great ignorance of Christians in their Holy Book: Abraham during his sojourns frequently used to build an altar for worship and sacrifice at different places and on particular occasions. When Jacob was on his way to Padan Aram and saw the vision of that wonderful ladder, he erected a stone there, upon which he poured oil and called it Bethel, i.e. "The House of God"; and twenty years later he again visited that stone, upon which he poured oil and "pure wine," as recorded in Genesis 28:10-22 and then Genesis 35. A special stone was erected as a monument by Jacob and his father-in-law upon a heap of stones called Gal'ead in Hebrew, and Yaghar sahdutha by Laban in his Aramaic language, which means "a heap of witness." But the proper noun they gave to the erected stone was Mispa (Genesis 31:45-55), which I prefer to write in its exact Arabic form, Mispha. Now this Mispha became later on the most important place of worship, and a center of the national assemblies in the history of the people of Israel. It was here that Naphthah - a Jewish hero - made a vow "before the Lord," and after beating the Ammonites, he is supposed to have offered his only daughter as a burnt offering (Judges 11). It was at Mispha that four hundred thousand swordsmen from the eleven tribes of Israel assembled and "swore before the Lord" to exterminate the tribe of Benjamin for an abominable crime committed by the Benjamites of Geba' and succeeded (Judges 20 and 21.). At Mispha all the people were summoned by the Prophet Samuel, where they "swore before the Lord" to destroy all their idols and images, and then were saved from the hands of the Philistines (1 Samuel 7). It was here that the nation assembled and Saul was appointed king over Israel (1 Samuel 10) . In short, every national question of great moment was decided at this Mispha or at Bethel. It seems that these shrines were built upon high places or upon a raised platform, often called Ramoth, which signifies a "high place." Even after the building of the gorgeous Temple of Solomon, the Misphas were held in great reverence. But, like the Ka'aba at Mecca, these Misphas were often filled with idols and images. After the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple by the Chaldeans, the Mispha still maintained its sacred character as late as the time of the Maccabees during the reign of King Antiochus . Now, what does the word Mispa mean? It is generally translated into a "watch-tower." Mispa is the place or building which derives its name from sapha, an archaic word for "stone." The usual word for stone in Hebrew is iben, and in Arabic hajar. The Syriac for stone is kipa. But safa or sapha seems to be common to them all for some particular object or person when designated as a "stone." Hence the real meaning of Mispa is the locality or place in which a sapha or stone is set and fixed. When this name, Mispa, was first given to the stone erected upon a heap of stone blocks, there was no edifice built around it. It is the spot upon which a sapha rests, that is called Mispa. The Arabic language lacks the p sound in its alphabet just as much as do the Hebrew and other Semitic languages, in which the letter p, like g, is sometimes soft and is pronounced like f or ph. In English, as a rule, the Semitic and Greek words containing f sound are transliterated and written by the insertion of "ph" instead of "f," e.g. Seraph, Mustapha, and Philosophy. It is in accordance with this rule that I prefer to write this word sapha to safa. From what has been stated above, our curiosity would naturally lead one to ask the following questions: aWhy did the descendants of Abraham choose a stone to perform their religious service on or around it? Why should this particular stone be named sapha? The stone was selected as the best suitable material upon which a traveling devotee offered his sacrifice, poured his pure oil and wine, and performed his religious services around it. It was more than this; this stone was erected to commemorate the vows and certain promises which a prophet or righteous man made to his Creator, and the revelation he received from God. Consequently, it was a sacred monument to perpetuate the memory and the sacred character of a great religious event. Islamic Prayers A common misconception is that the Muslims prayers is unique to Islam. However, this is not very accurate. Muslims prayers were obligatory to previous nations: First thing in Muslim prayer is the Azan or the call to prayer: The Noble Qur’an: "O you who believe! when the call is made for the prayer....hasten to the rememberance of Allah" [The Noble Qur’an 6:29]. The Holy Bible: "And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, make thee two trumphets of silver...that thou mayest use them for calling of the assembly...And when they shall blow them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation". [Numbers 10:1-3]. Now, when the faithful come to the Mosque they take off their shoes so that they may enter the house of worship in bare feet: The Noble Qur’an: "When he came to the fire, a voice was uttered: O Moses! I am the Lord, therefore put off thy shoes, for thou art in the sacred valley of Tuwa." [The Noble Qur’an 20:11-12]. The Holy Bible: “(And god said to Moses), "Draw not nigh hither; put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground." [Exodus 3:5, also ACTS 7:33]. So, before standing for prayer, Muslims make Ablution, washing their faces, hands, feet, etc: The Noble Qur’an: "O you who believe! when you rise up for prayer, wash your faces and your hands as far as the elbows, and wipe your heads, and wash your feet to the ankles." [The Noble Qur’an 5:7]. The Holy Bible: "And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet threat; when they went into the tent of the congregation they washed as the Lord commanded Moses." [Exodus 40:31-32]. After this, the Muslims stand for prayer facing the Kaaba or the Great Mosque in Mecca: The Noble Qur’an: "So turn thy face towards the sacred Mosque, and (O Muslims), wheresoever ye may be, turn your faces towards it." [The Noble Qur’an 2:150]. The Holy Bible: "Now when Daniel...went into the house; and his window being open in the chamber towards Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime." [Daniel 6:10]. In the Prayer, Muslims bow down before God, and make obeisance to Him, by touching the ground before them with their foreheads: The Noble Qur’an: "O You who believe! bow down and prostrate yourselves and serve your lord, and do good that you may prosper." [The Noble Qur’an 22:77] The Holy Bible: "And he (Jesus) went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed..." [Matthew 26:39] "And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship..." [Joshua 5:14] "And they (Moses and Aaron) fell upon their faces..." [Num 20:6] "And Abraham fell on his face..." [Genesis 17:3] And lastly, when the prayer is over, the Muslims spread out their hands to God, asking forgiveness, seeking his Blessings, beseeching his protection for mankind: The Noble Qur’an: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the fire." [The Noble Qur’an 2:201] The Holy Bible: "...when Soloman had made an end of praying all his prayer and supplication unto the Lord, he arose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to Heaven" [1 Kings 8:54] "And Jesus Lifted up his eyes and said, Father, I thank Thee that Thou heardest me. And i knew that Thou heardest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that Thou hast send me." [John 11:41-42] The prayer of Moses in The Holy Bible: “ And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped”. [Exodus 34:6-8]. The prayer of David in The Holy Bible: Please refer to Psalms 86 Why Muslims pray 5 times per day? “Pray without ceasing”. [1 Thessalonians 5:17] We find the different times of prayers in other religions for the performance of their worship. For example the Roman Catholic Christians pray in the morning before sunrise, then in the evening. The Jews have prayers at three times, as we read in the book of Daniel 6:10-13! We find in the Psalms of David, specification of three times per day in Psalms 55:16-17 (morning, noon, and evening). Does the Quran order such a prohibition on pictorial representation of people and animals? Absolutely NOT! In Quran 34:12-34:13, we are told that Solomon was given power over jinns as well as men. The Quran notes, with approval, the Solomon used this rulership over the jinns to command them to build "statutes!" If there was an absolute ban on all images of art depicting people or animals, how come Solomon was authorized to command the jinns to make such images? What the Quran prohibits is NOT the depiction of human beings and animals, but SHIRK, i.e. making of such objects with the intention of worshipping them in the place of, or along with, Allah! This is the clear import of the Quran’s ayah relating to the Golden Calf and idol worship: " The people of Moses made, in his absence, out of their ornaments, the image of calf, (for worship): it seemed to low: did they not see that it could neither speak to them, nor show them the way? They took it for worship and they did wrong". [The Noble Qur'an 7:148]. "We bestowed aforetime on Abraham his rectitude of conduct, and well were We acquainted with him. Behold! he said to his father and his people, "What are these images, to which ye are (so assiduously) devoted?" They said, "We found our fathers worshipping them." He said, "Indeed ye have been in manifest error - ye and your fathers." [The Noble Qur'an 7:148-154]. In both the cases of Moses and Abraham the sin they were criticizing was WORSHIP of images, not their mere making. In this connection, it is important to keep in mind that pagan worship has not always been limited to worship of human being or animals, or images thereof; many pagan cults were based on worship of the sun, moon and/or planets! Worship of these objects or their depictions is JUST AS MUCH SHIRK as worship of human beings, animals, or depiction of same! The claim that pictorial depiction of people or animals with no intention to worship same involves shirk, this, has no Quranic basis. Really??? Let's see: "Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God". [Leviticus 19:31]. "And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people". [Leviticus 20:6]. "A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them". [Leviticus 20:27]. " And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger". [2 Kings 21:6]. "And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger". [2 Chronicles 33:6] "So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to inquire of it". [1 Chronicles 10:13] "Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land". [1 Samuel 28:3]. "Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer". [Deuterenomy 18:10]. Now, the word "Familiar Spirit" is a tanslation of the Hebrew word "Obh". The Hebrew word "Obh" means "bottle" and either indicates that the medium was the receptacle of the spirit or is a relic of jinns. Please anyone who read arabic, please refer to the arabic translation of these verses and you'll find that the word used is "JINN". "unclean spirit" or "devils" are in Hebrew "Chd" and "Chdim". |
