Hello everybody!
I have some things to add as well:
First to Omega: Naruto is an atheist, he therefore doesn't believe in God or the Bible.
Why do you use quotes from the bible as arguments to convince him? I know they are the truth for you but for Naruto it is just a bit of text that might as well came from Harry Potter.
My point is: In Naruto's view quotes fromt he bible are worthless as arguments.
I hope you can see that and use other arguments.
Second: I think it was Omega that asked that if you can belief in God why not in God and the Bible.
My answer to that question is this: The only link between God and the Bible is in the Bible itself. Evidence like this wouldn't stand a chance in a courtroom or something like that. Before you react to that: I know that it is not at all about evidence or courtrooms, but about faith and believing, but maybe you can see now why it is hard to accept the link Bible - God for people who do not have that faith for whatever what reason.
Last but not least. As you all may have guessed I don't believe in the Bible combined with God ( so save the trouble finding quotes ) I do believe in something higher than everything else though, but I believe with my heart and use the rules that my heart gives me instead of the rules in the Bible.
In my humble opinion it is best to follow the heart instead of anything else.
That would be it, looking forward to the replies.
Jovaro
PS: To Carol
But.. shapes are God's creation, the names of those shapes are man's imagination. Who is to say that a square is not a round square in God's eyes?
Maybe the leaf is blue after all
