Peace,
Sorry it took so long for me to answer, however, am busy with exam preperations. Never the less, here's my explanation:
(1)“ And indeed We gave Musa( Moses) the Book and followed him up with the succession of Messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary clear signs and he supported him with Ruh-ul-Qudus ( Angel Gabriel)……”
The Ruh-ul-Qudus that God is speaking about in the verse is the Angel Gabriel. What should be mentioned is that the Angel Gabriel has been sent to many Prophets and messengers, including Mohammad, Moses etc…. I’m sorry but this verse does not support the trinity in anyway.
(2) As above
(3) I don’t understand what you are trying to achieve with this verse.
Allah had told us that Jesus also told his people of the coming of Muhammad:
“And (remember) when Jesus, son of Mary, said: “Oh children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming the Torah before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad ( Prophet Mohammad’s other name)….” (Surah 61, verse 6
(4) Yes we believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and that he’s mother is Mary. Was there a hidden message that I missed?
(5) That is correct. Jesus was sinless and so were all the prophets and messengers that came before him, and Muhammad that came after him.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“ Verily, We have given you ( O Muhammad) a manifest victory. That Allah may forgive you your sins of the past and the future, and complete His favour on you, and guide you on the Straight Path.” (Surah 48, Verse 1-2)
Now read what Mohammad says in regards to this verse:
Narrated Al-Mughirah: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to offer night prayers till his feet became swollen. Somebody said to him: “Allah has forgiven you your sins of the past and the future”. On that he said, “Shouldn’t I be thankful slave of Allah?” (Sahih Bukhari)
(6) “And salaam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive” (Surah Mary, Verse 33)
No where in this verse does it say that Jesus is resurrected. What Jesus is saying here is not in order. He does not say: “I was born, and then I died, and then I shall be raised alive”. We believe that when Jesus, the messiah, returns to this world, he will die on this earth. That’s all the verse is saying.
(7) No where in that verse does it say that Jesus was crucified. On the contrary, Allah says “For surely they killed him not”.
(8) No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus as the Messenger of God. So I don’t understand your point here.
(9) Yes Jesus was taught that there is One God, and to obey him and that he was the Messenger of God.
(10) Please explain your point here.
(11) Yes of course, the disciples of Jesus were Muslims, meaning they submitted their will to Almighty God.
(12) ????
(13) Yes God did reveal the Torah and the injil. Allah says in the Qur’an:
"We did send apostles before thee, and appointed for them wives and children: and it was never the part of an apostle to bring a sign except as God permitted (or commanded). For each period is a Book (revealed).
However, the Qur’an is the last testament revealed by God and that Mohammad is the seal of the prophets.
(14) And…………..? Where are you going with this?
(15) Re-read the verse, no where does it say God resurrected Jesus.
(16) Again I don’t understand your point. I’ve already made it clear that it is an article of faith to believe in the Injil- I repeat the injil is not the Bible.
(17) Yes it does? However the Injil that the Quran is referring to taught its followers to believe in the one God (not God in three) and that Jesus was the Messiah and the Messenger of God.
(18) I don’t think there’s any point made here for me to address
(19) Yes He did. Thus they became those who submitted their will to the Almighty God ( ie Muslims)
(20) We Muslims do believe in all the Prophets that was sent to Mankind, and the scriptures of the old. However we do not believe in the scriptures that the Jews and Christians have in their hands today because it goes against the teachings that there’s only one God and that Jesus was the messenger. The scriptures available today are not the Gospel of Jesus nor the Torah of Moses.
(21) Please explain yourself.
I hope I’ve made myself clear. If you didn’t understand any of my explanations, please let me know, and I’ll explain it to you in greater detail.
Peace and Blessings be to the Believers
