Well that was certainly an interesting read laa_din.
I've been reading other interesting sites.. not even Christian ones these ones, but purely secular reasons for leaving Islam. Try this one if you want more reading.

Of course, I don't agree with their basic presumption that just because there are things in the religion you throw out a belief in God totally.. that is my basic concern with anybody who rejects Christianity.. so often it's done in the name of so called "hypocracy".. yet, to throw out a belief in God, just because religion doesn't show itself in a form that someone agrees with is playing with fire.
Let's assume God exists (which He does). Let's assume I have a spiritual hole in me (which I do). Let's assume I desperately want that hole plugged by God (Which all mankind does whether they want to believe it or not). Let's assume I don't know how to plug that hole with God (Which most of mankind doesn't). I go in search of ways of plugging it, and find all manner of things ... changing from religion to religion, belief system to belief system, even humanism, even drugs.. the occult.. anything that might stop that gnawing desire for a relationship with God that He put there.
When I find Him, I know I'm fulfilled (and I did, and I am). Religion is meaningless now, it's faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, God Himself come in the flesh Who now makes sense of life.. perfect sense and no more is that gnawing desire for Him there.. I didn't need to plug the hole, He did it for me.
