Homosexual Discussion ForumasexualityMorgan Pair-bonding? If anything, sexuality absent its true purpose is simple promiscuity. Without the bond of family, or the possibility thereof, there is no reasonable expectation that that bond need be a “pair”, “triple” or any myriad of indiscriminate acts. Citing any “secondary purpose” for this innate biological drive is only self-serving justifications. Apples and oranges, you’re talking about at least two disorders stemming from very different cognitive influences, asexuallity IMO is a social anxiety disorder that may reflect complicated psychological problems. However, the one distinctive quality shared by both and more is the drive to gratify. How one directs that drive is how one diagnoses the disorder. No reason? Should those who direct their sexual “desire” towards their adult relatives have to refrain provided there is no sense of distress within these individuals or it negatively impacting their lives? They are equally as politically oppressed strictly based on social morality. Can you give me one reason your desires are any more equal than incestual desire? Save the procreative genetic defect argument, it has no merit without being hypocritical. Not really, as I’ve said before, much of our legal system is based on religious law, if you’re going to base your argument on desire and the legal ability to act on those desires, then it is hypocritical to deny others their right to do the same. I believe I did. |
